Hummer & Piston Shock Resist

G-SHOCK's shock resistance has also been verified by hammering it in a resting state with a hammer traveling through a 180- rotation trajectory.

振動防震測試

G-SHOCK的震動防震測試是在能產生19.6米/秒正弦波的測試機器上,經過20分鐘以上的震動來測試的。

Vibration Resist

G-SHOCK's vibration resistance has been verified by vibrating it for 20 minutes or longer with a testing machine that generates a powerful 19.6m/s sine wave.

機心

機心可說是每支手錶心臟的零件,為了不讓撞擊影響到機心的運作,G-SHOCK的機心深埋在中空的結構之中,僅有幾個支撐點,讓機心懸浮於中空結構中,遇到撞擊時,運作也不會受影響。

Module

The module is the heart of a watch. To keep shocks from reaching it, the G-SHOCK module has been enclosed in a hollow structure with support at just a few points and virtually allowed to float inside the case.

錶殼

錶殼是包覆機心的零件。經過精密計算的設計,運用最薄的厚度支撐著耐衝擊結構。

Case

The case that encloses the module is designed in accordance with highly precise calculations to achieve a shock-resistant structure despite its extreme thinness.

緩衝橡膠襯墊

這個襯墊的是讓機心可以只透過幾個點懸浮在中空結構內的幕後功臣。

Rubber Cushion

This cushion has made it possible to develop the hollow structure in which the module floats with support at just a few points.

電路板

電路板好比是手錶的頭腦。在水晶等每個纖細零件上,都鋪有保護其不受衝擊影響的緩衝材料。

Circuit Board

This board can be considered the brain of the watch. A cushioning material spread over it covers the crystals and every other delicate part to protect them from shocks.

Full Auto Light

This lighting system switches on automatically when the wrist is tilted. Its illumination sensor prevents it from operating in bright light to avoid unnecessary electricity consumption.
